It has been far too long since I showed the world what I am working on right now – my W.I.P. (Work(s) In Progress). I am working on a series of paintings called “Creatures Of God“. The series is so very dear and special to me – and by far my most comprehensive, valid, credible, meaningful, heartfelt, and passionate work to date. It is so special to me, that I find it impossible to show pictures of the paintings until the whole series is complete and hanging in the best gallery in the world.

On the eve of 2009, I have completed the first in the series, along with major chunks of the second. The series will comprise roughly 22 original works and I plan on spending a good portion of 2009 making them really really beautiful.

I plan on conveying to the viewer a sense of both satisfaction and sadness, achievement and struggle, passion and apathy – and mostly a sense of enlightened empathy for the human condition and those around us.

The image above is a snapshot taken of my W.I.P. (so far). I will not be showing this series until it is complete.
