WOW!  Just got this amazing package in the mail from my very helpful assistant, Brenna!

Its a box of chocolates, but not just an ordinary box of chocolate, this is perhaps the most well prepared and crafted box of chocolates we have ever seen.

There are three chocolates in the box- on the outside they look like dark, milk and white chocolates, but they are actually much more decadent than that.  The 3 flavors are as follows: Bitter White Brandied Cherry, Curious Chili, and Scorched Caramel.

It is quite an amazing little business actually. The man who started all of this is Mr. Douglas Little.  He calls himself a modern alchemists. He creates chocolate, tea, candles and much more with his award winning taste and aesthetic.

Here is what Mr. Little has to say about his practice in modern day alchemy.

“Alchemy was the medieval pursuit to transform un-precious metals into gold through a combination of magic and science. Utilizing the rarest of extracts, essences and absolutes, we are able to create fragrances that conjure time and place, transforming environments from the mundane to the sublime.”

It looks like Mr. Little used the expertise of VALERIE confections to create these skeletal chocolate treats. A decadent collaboration indeed.
