Juxtapoz magazine is one of my favs. They feature artists on all different career pathes and at different points in their careers. They are very focused on the genre of art.
My first time to really read Juxtapoz was while I was living in Texas and I had just started showing my artwork to the public in ad hoc party-esque local events. At that time I decided to focus on achieving the goals of being featured in Juxtapoz, being on the cover of the magazine, and otherwise being a part of the Juxtapoz experience.
