As most of you may remember, I have a thing for rabbits and hares and have been painting 4 very special Hero-Rabbits in advance of this new year. Here is a sneak peak into the meaning behind the Hero-Rabbits:
HERO-SON | HERO-LOVER | HERO-WARRIOR | HERO-TRICKSTER
The titles to the four rabbits represent the 4 ways in which woman sees man (Lover, Trickster, Warrior, and Son).
The rabbits represent the masculine of our kind but at the same time contain very feminine elements (such as the big oval shaped ears and the color choices). The moon hanging overhead in the background is the Moon Goddess – the opposite to the rabbit.
I will write more and in depth on these paintings but for now enjoy this small image of the first one but soon there will be more (they are rabbits afterall).

“L’Incroyable Symbolisme de FOOX” and featuring a selection of the world’s finest ballet dancers. Ashley Bouder, Nancy Richer, Cory Stearns, Emma Bond, and of course choreographed by Jackie Reyes. Filmed and edited by Rob Gilbert of DECON Media and a little FOOX artistry and voila, a French sounding art flick and some fun body painting.

A Little Nirvana For Your Money:
FOOX (artist David Foox) has done it again. Poking fun at hipsters and trendsters that claim zen-like attributes but remain attached to their money, FOOX has created the Buddha Bucks Wallet including original artwork from his SCARY MONEY Series first displayed at the Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards in 2008.
Fits $, €, and ₤. Buy Buddha Bucks Wallets now.
(A Beautiful Person – according to Google Images)
I have just been invited as the participating artist for the Paper Magazine Beautiful People party coming up in April. No official date has been set yet. Based on last year’s event, this year will be just as flash.
I will debut Creatures of God pt 1 at the Beautiful People party – which has led to jokes about “Beautiful People/Creatures of God”. These pieces will be much bigger than the resins of Scary Money – and I am enjoying working with the bigger format.
