New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2011 is going to be a good time. We have the entire 1xRUN contingent arriving in NYC this week, Metro Orange is setting up their booth on Tuesday, Artwhino from DC is arriving today with their army of artists, and Tenacious Toys has been pumped for months.

Both are awesome actually. NY COMIC CON had a really enthusiastic group of supporters. At first it felt weird being at Comic Con in WINTER but then I how cool the convention center was throughout the weekend. Especially since I was moving around tons! (see: KFC COMIC CON UPDATE)

I was way impressed with the costumes and I preferred that there were less of the “paid costume wearers” – cause I think the costumes are only cool from the fans – not the studios. Just my opinion. NYCC was more intimate and it was common to “bump” into the same pacman or incredible hulk or scooby shaggy throughout the weekend. Warhammer (Games Workshop) had a cool giveaway and so did Masters of the Universe. Our booth was right up toy alley – appropriate for the launch of ORGAN DONORS.

Some are common (like the regular organs) but others are RARE – like the alien invader eye ball/cornea and the black market kidneys. :)
